TT Cinema: V For Vendetta Bonfire Night Screening

5th November

Remember, remember the 5th of November. There’s sure to be a few fireworks on our big screen this Guy Fawkes night, as we treat you to the visually stunning film adaptation of Alan Moore’s iconic graphic novel.

The film takes place in 2032 in an alternate vision of Britain in which – following a harrowing world war – a corrupt and abusive totalitarian government has risen to complete power.

During a threatening run in with the secret police, an unassuming young woman named Evey (Natalie Portman) is rescued by a vigilante named V (Hugo Weaving) – a caped figure as articulate as he is skilled in combat.

V embodies the principles of rebellion against an authoritarian state, donning a mask of vilified would-be terrorist Guy Fawkes to lead a revolution sparked by assassination and destruction – with Evey as his unlikely ally.

Tickets are £15 for one, or £20 for a pair when you use the code ‘vendetta’ at checkout. Complimentary cocktail and free snacks throughout included as standard.
