The Balvenie Burns Night Tasting

This Burns Night, join us & The Balvenie for a one-off global tasting extravaganza honouring the life of famed Scottish poet and lyrical genius, Robert Burns.

On the night, attendees can expect stories and readings from The Balvenie’s team of global whisky ambassadors, who will be in London for one night only from as far as Australia, Russia, Singapore and the US.

This very special event will also feature intimate tastings of four different drams of The Balvenie led by the global whisky ambassadors themselves, as well as a special menu of discounted Balvenie cocktails available from the bar throughout the night’ courtesy of our expert bar team.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive from 7:30pm so you can grab a drink and be given a time for your tasting session, which will be conducted in small groups.

Readings and traditional poetry renditions will commence at 8pm, and the tasting sessions will start shortly afterwards.

Tickets are £20 each and include an intimate 4-dram tasting with a Balvenie brand ambassador and discounted cocktails in the cellar bar for the evening.

FORMAT:

Arrival – Guests will arrive at 7:30pm through the doors of our liquor store, where you will be able to browse the shelves and perhaps grab yourselves a drink whilst you are given a time for your tasting session.

Poetry – Come 8pm, attendees will be treated to a series of readings and poetry renditions taken from the great man’s works.

Tasting – Then it’s time to raise a dram. Depending on when your allotted tasting slot is, you will be taken to our intimate tasting vaults in small groups to nose and try four of The Balvenie’s most premium drams. While you wait, there’s a three-strong cocktail list for you to get stuck in to down in the Cellar Bar.

Afters – Tasting complete, guests are encouraged to hang around, swap tasting notes, and have a few more drinks down in our Cellar Bar. Reservations recommended, although not mandatory.
