Tasting Sessions - Ocho Tequila

As we enter the merry month of May, we’ll be welcoming in tequila masters, Ocho, for another exclusive Tasting Session down in our subterranean vaults.

The good people behind Ocho believe that good things come to those who wait – that’s why theirs is one of the last remaining tequilas that is still made slowly, in the old fashioned way, resulting in a fine quality spirit that accentuates the agave flavour.

Let your learned host guide you through the fascinating tale of the brand’s conception, as well as the unique processes that set their liquid apart. Also learn about the increasing role that terroir has in the world of tequila, and how Ocho have harnessed this trend spectacularly – to the extent that they have scooped numerous prizes at the Sustainable Spirit Award at TOTC.

Following a welcome cocktail in our Cellar Bar, guests will then take part in a guided tasting of their full award-winning range down in our vaults. Tickets are £10 per head and are available via the link below.

FORMAT

Arrival – Guests will arrive through the doors of our specialist liquor store on Kingsland Road at around 6:20pm, where they will be greeted by one of our team.

Welcome Drink – You will then be led down the stairs and into our Cellar Bar, where our discerning mixologists will hand you your complimentary Ocho serve.

Guided Tasting – Once you’ve sipped your way through your complimentary cocktail, your guide for the evening will lead you on a comprehensive tasting of Ocho’s award-winning liquids down in our vaults, explaining their unique ethos and the painstaking processes that go into every bottle.

Afters – All attendees are welcome to remain in the Cellar Bar at the conclusion of your session. Prior reservation is recommended but not mandatory.
