Tasting Sessions - Gosling's Rum

We move into March with another exclusive Tasting Session, this time courtesy of the guys over at venerable Bermuda-based rum producers, Gosling’s.

Learn the story of how the brand’s founder James Gosling, who set out from England to America in 1806 with £10,000 worth of merchandise, unexpectedly landing in Bermuda where they remained for over 127 years.

Th team will take you on a journey into rums infamous past, revealing tales of pillaging pirates, cures for baldness, signature cocktails, and body preservations.

Tickets are £10 a head and include a welcome Gosling’s cocktail, followed up by a guided tasting of their range down in our subterranean vaults.

FORMAT

Arrival – Guests will arrive through the doors of our specialist liquor store on Kingsland Road at around 6:30pm, where they will be greeted by one of our team.

Welcome Drink – You will then be led down the stairs and into our Cellar Bar, where our discerning mixologists will put hand you your complimentary Gosling’s serve.

Guided Tasting – Once you’ve sipped your way through your complimentary cocktail, your guide for the evening will lead you on a comprehensive tasting of Gosling’s range down in our vaults, explaining the long and varied history of the brand and some of the processes that go into producing every bottle.

Afters – All attendees are welcome to remain in the Cellar Bar at the conclusion of your session. Prior reservation is recommended but not mandatory.
