FULL DESCRIPTION
The Teeling Single Grain is comprised almost entirely of corn, giving it a distinct sweet base. Aged entirely in French oak, ex-Cabernet Sauvignon barrels sourced from the Napa Valley imparts a tannic profile of red berries and spice. With no chill filtering and bottled at 46%, the Teeling Single Grain stands out from its peers as a truly unique single grain whiskey.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Rose-tinted copper.
Nose: Banana bread, cereal notes and spice.
Taste: Spicy, buttery fudge into red fruit notes.
Finish: Woody tannins, spice and white chocolate.
Overall: Sweet and spicy, this whisky is often aptly referred to as a ‘breakfast whiskey’.

Irish whiskey was once the most popular spirit in the world and has been massively on the rise in popularity in recent years. Ireland and Scotland both lay claim to being whisky’s original creator but it’s likely both nations developed a similar product at around the same time. The Teeling is a Dublin distillery established in 2015 by Jack and Stephen Teeling the first new distillery in Dublin in 125 years. Their early releases probably coming from Cooley or Bushmills.
