Description

FULL DESCRIPTION
Crafted by those with the most curious of minds and imaginative spirits, no other gin tastes like Hendrick’s because no other gin is made like it. Hendrick’s Gin displays hints of coriander, juniper, citrus peel and an odd but marvellous infusion of Bulgarian rose petal and specially selected cucumbers form only the finest producers. Hendrick’s Gin’s signature serve, a Gin and Tonic with a slice of cucumber, was one of the first champions of the gin revival that imbibers have been revelling in recently.

Gift

The only way you could have possibly not heard of Hendrick’s Gin is if you’ve been living amongst the Sentinelese people on North Sentinel Island in the Bay of Bengal for the past twenty years. Which is highly unlikely as they kill anyone that tries to make contact with them.

RECOMMENDATIONS
If the person you’re buying for is a fan of the Hendricks you could also try Star of Bombay, Silent Pool or Scapegrace Gin.

Connoisseur

Hendrick’s Gin is infused with the curious yet marvellous essences of rose and cucumber, delectably supported by no less than 11 botanicals from the four corners of the world. This whimsical concoction produces a wonderfully refreshing gin with a delightfully floral aroma. There are now 10 hands toiling together in the Gin Palace under the direct supervision of our Master Distiller Lesley Gracie. Each batch of Hendrick’s Gin is crafted just 500 lovely litres at a time. It is how Hendrick’s Gin started in 1999 and how it will remain.

DISTILLERY
The Girvan Distillery

ABOUT THE DISTILLERY
The Girvan Distillery, located in the tiny seaside village of Girvan, Ayrshire, south-west Scotland, is home to The Hendrick’s Gin Palace. Overlooking the mysterious volcanic island of Ailsa Craig, the distillery lies a mile inland, neighbouring numerous Puffin and Gannet colonies. Within the walls of the Gin Palace, two unique and rare stills can be found. Hendrick’s Carter-Head still, hailing from 1948, and their Bennett still, made by London coppersmiths in 1860. Producing a mere 500 litres of gin at a time, the operation of these stills is carefully supervised by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie.
