Devil’s Botany Distillery is based in East London E10. It is the UK’s first dedicated absinthe distillery. Their 150 litre copper pot still is named Pepper after Nicholas Culpeper, the famous East London-based apothecary and botanist.
Devil’s Botany Chocolate Absinthe Liqueur is made using a base of Devil’s Botany’s absinthe distillate, containing all the herbs and botanicals you can find in their range of absinthes. Grand wormwood is a bitter botanical, but when distilled it can reveal notes of dark chocolate. This is heightened by the infusion of raw cacao in Devil’s Botany Chocolate Absinthe Liqueur.
Absinthe was traditionally bottled at a higher strength and then diluted and sweetened by the absinthe drinker. Devil’s Botany Chocolate Absinthe Liqueur has already been sweetened with demerara sugar and diluted to a sippable strength of 24% abv so it eliminates the need for an absinthe fountain and is ready to drink chilled or over ice.

Voucher delivery: As soon as we receive a voucher order they’re sent out via first class post. Depending on how busy Royal Mail is, you’ll usually receive your physical vouchers in 2-3 working days. If you’ve made your order on the weekend we will aim to send it out the following Monday. Bank holidays may affect this. If you need it sooner, you can come to TT to collect it or Download a printable version.
Christmas Post 2023: Our last date to guarantee dispatched vouchers has passed. If you make an order after this date, we will still post it out, but it's unlikely it will arrive in time for Christmas. Please note that digital downloads are available on all vouchers! All post will stop on the 21st December and resume on the 3rd of January 2024.
