Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is a good introduction to the delights of single malt whisky – elegant, smooth and medium-bodied, with a light, fruity palate and a whiff of heather on the finish. Part of Diageo’s Classic Malt range.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Dark Straw
Nose: Clean and fresh, with heather honey, pears, a touch of toffee and a soft floral note.
Taste: Bright and fruity, but also rich, with notes of steamed syrup pudding and sponge cake, with a little cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Just enough spice to match the fruit. Lovely balance.
Overall: Along with Cragganmore, this is one of the underrated members of the original Classic Six.
