If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have one bourbon with you, this would be your best choice. Buffalo Trace is an outstanding, bang-for-buck bourbon and if you’re looking for the perfect whiskey to mix that is also present neat, then look no further.
If the person you’re buying for is a fan of the Buffalo Trace, you could also try Woodford Reserve, Booker’s or Maker’s 46.
Buffalo Trace’s mashbill is of a low rye percentage and utilises barley malt and a hefty amount of corn. This gives the whiskey its full body and sweetness with a touch of spice.
