Fruit Knife

This bar knife, also known as a Tomato knife is a short serrated knife used to chop all kinds of fruit.

Because it has a serrated blade it will continue to cut even when the blade begins to get dull, this is because most of the cutting gets down inside the serrations. Because the blade is quite thin, it has a slight flex to it, this is useful for cutting out the pith (white flesh) of citrus fruit.
